About

Los Artistas Del Barrio Buffalo will exhibit, promote, and support Latino/a/x and Hispanic artists of all genres located in and connected to Buffalo and Western New York. Los Artistas Del Barrio Buffalo’s mission is to function as an arts collective that highlights the talents and creativity of Latino/a/x and Hispanic artists of every discipline in our community.

Our vision unites Western New York Latino/a/x and Hispanic artists of all genres in creativity, culture, collaboration, and community, so as to celebrate, and inform others of our ethnicity and roots. Through our arts collective, Los Artistas Del Barrio Buffalo, will bring visibility, success and joy to artists, patrons, and our community within Western New York and beyond.

Los Artistas Del Barrio Buffalo is proud to be in fiscal partnership with El Museo Francisco Oller y Diego Rivera, located at 91 Allen Street in Buffalo, NY. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, El Museo’s fiscal sponsorship supports our work in a variety of ways to help Los Artistas Del Barrio Buffalo achieve its goals. (Fiscal sponsorship refers to the practice of non-profit organizations offering their legal and tax-exempt status to groups—typically projects—engaged in activities related to the sponsoring organization's mission.) Los Artistas Del Barrio Buffalo is also proud to call Asbury Arts Center (Asbury Hall, 341 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY) our home. As part of a larger arts collective, we are joined in community with Buffalo Chamber Players, Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus, Buffalo String Works, Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center, and Starlight Studios and Art Gallery.
